Harmony IPL

Harmony IPL is one of our signature treatments and our ‘go to’ laser for treating a wide range of skin conditions. These include broken veins, skin redness, rosacea, pigmentation and uneven skin tone.

This advanced laser treatment works by delivering pulsed light beneath the skin’s surface, generating heat to treat the redness or veins or to shatter the area of pigment being targeted. Harmony IPL does this without damaging the surface skin or surrounding tissue and its ability to target very precisely means that even freckles on or around the treatment area will not be damaged or removed. The heat generated during treatment also helps stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin. This firms, refreshes and rejuvenates your skin at the same time as directly treating your condition. Harmony IPL is suitable for almost all areas of the body, including the face, hands, neck and décolletage.

Alison Telfer, owner and aesthetic director of The Glasshouse Clinic is a pioneer of this treatment and our results using this technology are second to none. This is due to our expertise in combining Harmony with complementary treatments and homecare products, including Obagi Medical Skincare, to ensure excellent, long-lasting results. We will also provide you with lifestyle tips and advice to help ensure that once treated your condition does not re-occur.

Please note that when treating pigmentation we will only treat pigment that should not be present on your skin. You also cannot wear fake tan or have been exposed to strong sunlight for up to 2 weeks before your treatment. For this reason, we usually recommend treatment between September and May when most people are likely to be less exposed to the sun.
